- Hazardous Waste Characteristics Scoping Study
- This report presents information on environmental contamination resulting from the management of non-hazardous wastes. This information was collected as part of a larger effort to identify potential gaps in the hazardous waste characteristics under RCRA, known as the "Hazardous Waste Characteristics Scoping Study." EPA reviewed many different sources of data, including data on hundreds of facilities that manage non-hazardous wastes, to identify the 123 case studies included in this report.
